A good place for scuba diving is the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park at Wandoor, 29 km from Port Blair. This Marine Park made-up of open sea, creeks and 15 small and large islands, is one of the best found anywhere in the world including rare corals. Good for both scuba & snorkeling.

- Access: Liveaboard trips from Phuket, or with the two local dive centers in Port Blair.
- Visibility: from 3-50 meters
- Current: often strong

L’archipel des iles Andaman est situé dans le golfe du Bengale. Ces iles font parties de la province indienne appelée « Andaman and Nicobar Islands Union Territory » gérée par le gouvernement fédéral (comme les iles Lakshadweep). La ville principale est Port Blair qui en est aussi le chef lieu administratif.
