HMAS J3 - This submarine wasn't sunk DURING the Great War, it, along with 5 sister boats, was given to Australia by the British after the war. After an ignoble career in Australia, where the subs rarely took to sea, the J3 was broken up and became part of the breakwater at Swan Island, Port Phillip in 1926
